Adventure Travel

I have been fortunate to be able to travel and fish in some of the worlds most beautiful places, and now I invite you to come along!

Ireland

The land of my ancestors, the Emerald Isle and Brown Trout. If you like dry fly fishing for Native Brown trout in beautiful stream and rivers Ireland is the place. And the best place to fish from is Clonanav Fly Fishing! Andrew Ryan has the best river fishing in Ireland at his disposal, and the knowledge of fishing it his entire life. Based in the Nire Valley not far from the town of Clonmel, his fly fishing lodge can accommodate the angler and non-angler alike. Visit his web site at www.flyfishingireland.com

Labrador

The home waters of the biggest Brook Trout you might ever see! A true wilderness experience in the middle of Gods country, Labrador is the place to be. And when I go there is only one company to go with, Three Rivers Lodge! Robin Reeve has been hosting fisherman for over 14 years at his fly in lodge in the heart of big Brookie country. The only way to reach his place is via float plane out of Wabush, Labrador. Along with the Brookies, you can catch Northern Pike, Artic Char, Lake Trout and Landlocked Atlantis Salmon.

Chile

I compare it to fishing Montana 50 years ago. No big houses on the banks of the rivers, no posted streams and Rainbows and Browns of immense proportions on dry flies. This is some of the finest fishing I have ever seen.

Since going there the first time in 2005 I’ve been back every year and have fished the Lake District down to the Patagonia. Along the way I have met some great people and wonderful lodges to stay in and fish out of.

Starting in the Lake District is Yan Kee Way lodge. Located 40 minutes out of Purte Varas, it is a beautiful place with all the amenities of a 5 star resort. Fishing is done on the Petrohue River and its tributaries. Rainbows, Browns and Atlantic Salmon can be caught there.

The La Paloma River Lodge is in the same area as El Patagon and is built for 6 anglers. It is located on the Paloma River.

The Coyhaique River Lodge is only 2 years old but already has the distinction of being a first class lodge and fishing destination.

In conjunction with the Picacho River Lodge I will be offering an 8 or 10 Day fishing adventure that will have you in both lodges for either 4 or 5 days of fishing.
