Spring Creek Outfitters Open House Spring Creek Outfitters and the Savage River Lodge will host an Open House on April 26 and 27. In addition to the opportunity to talk fishing with dedicated people, the Open House will hold a number of special events. Several fly tying seminars will be presented by noted fly tiers Joe “Honey” Soma, Walt Young, Scott Loughner, Kieran Frye and Randy Buchanan (AKA Randy Stonefly). John Maclean, author of Fire on the Mountain will be on hand to sign his books, and is also bringing memorabilia from his father’s book A River Runs Through It. He will also have memorabilia from the movie that was made from the book. Demonstrations
and classes on fly casting and spey casting will be held throughout the day. On Saturday afternoon, the day ends with a great slide show: Fishing Garrett County.
